The Kabeedies

Don't miss this ace teen band that oozes originality, musicality and enormous promise; believe it, there’s even better to come - Wombat Wombat
The Kabeedies are a suspicious gathering of some boys and a girl who like to
concoct new ways of baffling the human ear. Their slightly damaged minds dream
up gleeful pop tunes and a live show that leaves audience members dying for
their next fix of sweat and gaiety.
The band were concieved in October 2006 but the current lineup of Katie, Evan, Rory and Fab (whose ages range from sixteen to eighteen) has been making ladies and gentlemen dance across the east coast since March 2007. They capped off the year by selling out the Norwich Arts Centre for their EP launch and by winning the prestigious Next Big Thing title at the regions largest venue - the Norwich UEA. The new year has been welcomed in with a Huw Stevens BBC session at Maida Vale studios in London and a support slot with the Futureheads. April 2008 will see the release of the band's debut single "Lovers Ought To," the sixteenth release on Cherryade Records - more details of which can be found here!
