Young Knives

Biography:

The Young Knives: yet more giddy, exhaustive, bizarre pop music to feel enriched by. Three voices, one of which quite captivating (Henry), and a stark, bass-guitar-drums panache lacking nothing, with songs that'll one day soundtrack the real-life revenge of the nerds. Yumi Yumi

Biography:

Two girls from Kumamoto City in Japan were in London on an extended holiday. Having brought their guitars, they decided, "to satisfy a dream," to play a few London venues. Despite becoming semi-stars in Japan after vigorous media appearances, Kaori and Yumi chose to base themselves in London. Lucky for us, eh? Yumi Yumi is crrrrrashing drum beats, electro bleeps, loud bits, quiet bits - it's the sound of kitchen sinks being joyfully thrown around.
