Elf Power

Biography:

One of the original founding members of Athens, Georgia, USA’S legendary Elephant 6 Collective, often better known for producing the likes of Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control. Though, in my opinion, Elf Power are the most diverse, charming and creative of all the universally excellent E6 bands. Their recording career has spanned over a decade and they have toured and collaborated with many other E6 bands as well as American indie royalty like J. Mascys and the fog. The band also run their own label Orange Twin, based in Georgia, which sells multi-media art works and raises money for local conservation projects as well as putting out excellent records. Base player Brian Pool, a.k.a. Late BP Helium left the band in 2001 to pursue his solo career, though he continues to release material on Orange Twin.
